Frequently Asked Questions
What should I wear?
At Tri-City we encourage you to come as you are. In case you are wondering, most people attend wearing business-casual attire. Don't be surprised if you see very few suits and ties, as well as people wearing jeans. God sees our heart and that's what He cares about; it's not about the style of clothing we choose.
What about my kids?
Childcare is provided for birth-4 years at Tri-City on Sundays and birth-2 years on Wednesday evenings. This enables parents to attend both a Sunday School Class and Worship Service on Sunday. For children five and older a Bible class time is provided for them when you are attending yours. We offer a safe environment and secure facility with a state of the art security system present.
What about first time guests?
We have parking specific spaces reserved just for you. At the doors, a friendly person will be happy to guide you to the Welcome Center where you can find out about our church. We want you to feel at home. After Sunday Morning Worship, first-time visitors are invited to follow an usher who will guide them to our Guest Reception. This is an opportunity for our guests to enjoy light refreshments and meet our Senior Pastor and Staff.
Tell me about your Messages?
Dr. Ruffin Snow is one of God's most gifted teachers today. You’ll discover the deep yet simple truths of the Bible. Our Pastor explains in practical terms how we can live the life God intends for us. Pastor Ruffin Snow has been our Senior Pastor since 1999.
What about your Worship Style?
Through a Celebration Choir, Orchestra and dynamic Praise teams you’ll experience a blended worship style and amazing time of worship. The Worship & Music Ministry of Tri-City seeks to lead and facilitate a worshipful environment for those who are in attendance each week.

How can I become a member?
Membership here is not just having a name on a list. Being a member indicates a willingness to partner and potentially lead with us in our mission to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Our Pastor teaches a New Members class several times a year. You can e-mail vmcdaris(at)tcbc.org to sign up.
How can I be baptized?
We baptize only after a person has accepted Christ as their Savior on Sunday mornings and Sunday evenings. If you or someone you know have trusted Christ as their Savior and would like to be baptized please contact brepass@tcbc.org.
How do I make an appointment with a Pastor or Staff member?
Your interest in talking with us is very important. You may call the church phone number (828.465.6644) and someone will be happy to direct your call or schedule an appointment.
How do I get plugged in to such a large church?
It's amazing how fast our large church seems to shrink when you get to know people in a small group like Sunday School, bible fellowship classes, prayer, singles, choir, orchestra or one of dozens of special classes meeting each week around our campus. We can help you find your place here at Tri-City. God has a plan and purpose for your life. He has gifted you for ministry in a special way. Our PLACE ministry’s goal is to help every member get plugged in according to their passions, talents, abilities, and spiritual gifts. You can contact our PLACE ministry at: jcooper@tcbc.org
