Our Mission
The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
The Boy Scouts will prepare every eligible youth in America to become a responsible, participating citizen and leader who is guided by the Scout Oath and Law.
The Tri-City Boy/Cub Scout Troop 325 is part of the Piedmont Council of Scouts.
Tri-City Scouting Open House
September 3, 2008 - 8:00 PM
Opportunities abound for us as a church to positively influence the lives of youth in our congregation as well as those that do not have a church home. As a church, it is our responsibility to search out these types of opportunities.
We are hosting an Open House for boys in 1st through 6th grades on Wednesday evening, September 3 at 8:00 pm in the cafeteria.
At this meeting, we will register new Scouts so that we can begin our Scouting annual program. We invite boys and their parents to come and join us as we begin the new Scout year and learn about the fun and purpose of Scouting.
The program of the Boy Scouts of America provides a chance for us to become a partner in teaching the values of Citizenship, Character, and a belief in God. Programs for boys age 7-10 (Cub Scouts); boys age 11-18 (Boy Scouts) and young men and women age 14-20 (Venturing) are available for our use as both “in-reach and out-reach” ministries.
Cub Scout Pack and Boy Scout Troop 325 are chartered to Tri-City Baptist Church. We serve families from our own congregation as well as other faiths in the surrounding area. Please consider enrolling your son and serving as an adult helper in our church out-reach program.
