The Vietnamese Baptist Mission of Hickory was established on April 1, 2004 for the purpose of spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ to the Vietnamese community in and around Catawba County, “who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” (NAS, I Timothy 2:4). We hope to take part in the Vietnamese Community in many areas: education, culture, technical, medical, ... in order to help the Vietnamese people that are in need. So that we can build up a Vietnamese Community filled with genuine love, and be united in Christ.
