A Message From our Senior Pastor Dr. Ruffin Snow:
There is nothing quite like the joyous occasion of a wonderful Christian wedding! Just as in Bible times, a wedding is a happy event that glorifies God, emphasizes the covenant relationship of both marriage and salvation, and becomes the subject of joyful family conversation for years to come.
Great weddings do not necessarily have to be terribly expensive. Certainly there are costs involved, but the most important element has no financial price. That element is the blessing of the Lord. I always encourage couples and their parents to plan a wedding that can have the blessing of God.
One of the reasons that a wedding is conducted in a church building is that in marriage we see a beautiful picture of what it means to be a real born again Christian. In the Bible, marriage is presented as a covenant relationship and as such, it carries with it blessings for those who keep the covenant and curses for those who break it. You will be happy to know that these truths will be made clear throughout the preparation and the celebration of your Tri-City wedding.
What a joy it is for friends and family to gather around a bride and groom, each with a clear-cut testimony of salvation, each having lived pure, each having followed God’s leadership, and rejoice in answered prayer as the Lord brings their lives together.
