                                  Flu: Learning the Facts

The flu is a contagious respiratory disease caused by viruses. In the US the flu season begins every fall and ends in the spring. A pandemic flu is a new type of flu that emerges to which the public has no resistance. This enables the virus to spread quickly. The exact symptoms of a pandemic flu are unknown, however the symptoms are expected to be similar to the seasonal flu, which are: fever, sore throat, cough, runny or stuffy nose,extreme fatigue, headache, muscle aches and pains, and stomach problems such as nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.

The best way to protect yourself and others is to practice healthy hygiene to keep you well  now and during the flu season. These actions include washing your hand thoroughly and often, covering your cough or sneeze and stay home when you re sick to slow down the spread of illness.

not that of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone

God through His power, has moved in the hearts of members and friends of Tri-City Baptist Church to begin a ministry to support and encourage families touched by cancer. We are dedicated to providing prayer support, hope, compassion, and education that all may have a healthy body, soul, and spirit—finishing the course with joy and dignity.

 
Our Vision

Winning the fight against an individual’s cancer diagnosis soon becomes a family affair. Fear can quickly set in without support. The Dodii Cancer Survival Ministry’s vision is to restore the hope that a cancer diagnosis has taken away. The following methods have proven to be successful from experience and testimonials.
