As we all know, there are a lot of firsts in the beginning of a child's life ... the first smile, first laugh to crawling, and first steps. These, among others are monumental moments in the child and the parent's life. At Tri-City Baptist Church, we also know that there are firsts that we want every child to know ...
We also strive to assure parents that their child is well taken care of with trained volunteers, a secure check-in system and facilities, and a structured setting in each program provided. Childcare is always available with every regular service no matter what time of year for ages birth thru 4 years old. We make it our goal to assist parents in raising their child in the light of the Gospel from these earliest moments.

Through each first step your child takes, they will also be looking at many things for the first time. In our First Steps program, your child will focus and learn about one key truth each month such as salvation, faith, love, obedience, and prayer. Each truth is taught using the 5 senses which helps a child learn best. We also encourage our parents to get involved helping with your child's class and to take home what is learned every Sunday so they can continue the learning all week long.

Awana helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children who faithfully follow Jesus Christ. Our program offers a proven approach for evangelizing and discipling children ages 2-12. Please come out and join us each Wednesday for Puggles and Cubbies in the Preschool area or Sparks and T&T in the Family Life Center. We begin with prayer and pledges promptly at 6:30.
